Stereoscopic microscope for viewing spatial (also non-transparent) natural specimens, other than microscopic preparations. The microscope magnifies by 20x (wide-angle glasses: 10x, both sides: 2x), it also has an upper diode light (battery-powered: 2 x LR6 1.5V). The microscope is a good solution for younger and beginner naturalists due to its simple construction and handyness (585 g, h=23 cm), yet clear and sharp image.

Stereoscopic microscopes are used to view spatial (also non-transparent) natural specimens, and not only, other than microscopic preparations. Invaluable for studying e.g. fragments of rocks, minerals, soil samples, insects, plant specimens (whole or parts thereof), metals and hobby specimens (coins, stamps), etc. Unlike traditional microscopes, no special preparations are needed.
These microscopes are also characterized by different magnifications (most often used: from 10x to 40x) than biological microscopes designed for viewing specially prepared microscopic preparations on a slide.
