Collection of rocks - introductory is a teaching aid presenting 3 basic groups of rocks, i.e. magma rocks, sedimentary rocks and transformed rocks. The set contains 16 specimens in total - 15 rock fragments (five from each group) and 1 mineral specimen - quartz (the most popular mineral on Earth and a component of many rocks). The specimens are housed in a foam box with sockets, and the collection comes with a roster of rocks and a diffuser magnifier for studying the specimens.
